Platform e-Commerce berkontribusi hingga 20% terhadap total penjualan produk konsumsi (FMCG) nasional di 2018. Beberapa perusahaan FMCG menargetkan kontribusi e-commerce terhadap penjualan hanya 1%. Namun kontribusi e-Commerce terus meningkat. Tantangan terbesar yang dihadapi perusahaan FMCG di Indonesia ketika merambah ke dunia e-Commerce adalah sumber daya manusia, antaralain: Jumlah talent e-Commerce FMCG expert yang minim, pengetahuan dan kemampuan yang minim, dan minimnya pengalaman menangani penjualan melalui e-Commerce
