Writing Grants with Sana Ullah

-
Grants help photographers to develop their projects and impact the intended audience. To be eligible to receive grants, photographers need to answer the big question in writing: why do their projects matter?
In the hope of equipping photographers with the framework of writing grant proposal, JIPFest invites Sana Ullah (Senior Program Officer at National Geographic Society) to lead a collaborative workshop. In this one-day workshop, photographers who are interested in applying for grants will discuss things related to grant writing, including:
- Goals and objectives of their photography projects
- Budgeting to complete a project
- Creating effective pitch for their projects
The workshop is designed to be collaborative and includes a sharing session with National Geographic Society’s Explorers (grant awardees) from Indonesia.
